MOVE-IN INFORMATION

Thank you for choosing Midtown Terrace Apartments for your home! The staff at JSM Properties welcomes you, and looks forward to providing you with a comfortable living environment throughout your stay. Maintenance requests can be directed to the office during regular business hours. For AFTER HOURS EMERGENCIES, PLEASE CALL 608-258-0245.

For your convenience, trash dumpsters and recycling containers are located in the underground parking garage. Please help us keep them tidy by placing your refuse in the appropriate containers. Please DO NOT place any additional furniture, boxes etc. in building common areas. Items left unattained will be removed.

 The Clubhouse is open during office hours and has free wireless internet access. Current residents may also reserve the Clubhouse for an event as long as it is available. Please call the office to book the Clubhouse.

Midtown Terrace Clubhouse Rules

We hope you find everything you need and enjoy your time in the clubhouse!  Just a couple reminders:

 Feel free to use any appliance/item in the kitchen or closet area. Please wash and return them after use.

  1. Do not use items found in the fridge.
  2. As a reminder, only one guest per resident may use the pool and fitness center. Children cannot play in these areas.
  3. Please load and start the dishwasher before you leave.
  4. Please vacuum the floor and wipe all countertops & tables.
  5. Please return clubhouse decorations and furniture back to where they were originally.
  6. Please take out all trash and recycling to the garbage room in the downstairs garage.
  7. Any damage will be assessed by the office staff and charged to the resident accordingly.

The City of Madison’s Grill Policy is as follows:

 

In accordance with the Madison General Ordinance and the State Fire Code:

  • 3.1 Charcoal burners and other open-flame cooking devices shall not be operated on combustible balconies or within 10 feet (3048 mm) of combustible construction. Make sure the coals are completely cooled down with water before disposing of them. Make sure all ashes are contained in a non-combustible container.
This applies to first floor apartments WITH CEMENT PATIOS ONLY.  Apartments with balconies ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE CHARCOAL GRILLS.
 
  • 308.1.1 Liquefied-petroleum-gas-fueled cooking devices. LP-gas burners having a LP-gas container with a water capacity greater than 2.5 pounds (nominal 1 pound (0.454 kg) LP-gas capacity) shall not be located on combustible balconies or within 10 feet (3048 mm) or combustible construction.

  

Electric grills are permitted on patios and balconies. You may have one SMALL CAMPING SIZED gas grill on your patio or balcony. The LP-gas container must be smaller than 1 LB nominal.

 

 

*** There is a gas grill located outside of the pool area for all residents to use.  Please be careful when grilling.  Gas tanks are provided, but should they run out when the office is closed, feel free to take the tank to get refilled and bring us your receipt to be reimbursed.***

 The fitness center is located at 8002 Starr Grass Drive and can be accessed through the front entry door during office hours, or with your entryway key at any other time.
